Abstract
In this talk we would show some examples on the application of CALPHAD technique in designing Thermoelectric and Magnetocalorimetric Materials. In addition, the utilization of thermodynamic databases in process design of unit steel making process will be discussed in perspective of Computational Fluid Dynamics and time series data analytical modeling. Later part of the talk will talk about applications of MD simulations for mechanistic investigation of Laves dissolution in Ni super alloys followed by catalyst design in chemical looping production of H2.
